Gobi Desert and Eagle Festival Tour

This tour combines two of Mongolia’s most iconic experiences: the Gobi Desert and the Eagle Festival. The Gobi is unlike any other desert—vast, colorful, and alive with wildlife, nomadic life, and dramatic landscapes. As the world’s coldest desert and a major paleontological site, it offers silence, space, and the calming beauty of endless steppe beneath blue skies.

You begin in the warmer Gobi, visiting Tsagaan Suvarga, hiking Yolyn Am in Gurvan Saikhan National Park, watching sunset and hearing the singing sands at Khongor Dunes, exploring the Flaming Cliffs, ancient monastery ruins, and the Orkhon Valley. The journey then continues to western Mongolia to experience the Eagle Festival, meet Kazakh eagle hunters, and witness their deeply preserved traditions.
