HORIZON MONGOL TRAVEL
TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully. By confirming a booking with Mongol Horizon Travel & Tours, you agree to the conditions described below.

  1. BOOKING & PAYMENTS
    A booking is confirmed once we receive the required deposit and send a written confirmation.

• Deposit: 30% of the total tour price
• Balance payment: due 30 days before arrival

If a booking is made within 30 days before the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payments can be made by international bank transfer or approved online payment methods.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY
    All cancellations must be sent in writing by email.

Cancellation fees are as follows:

• More than 45 days before arrival – refund of payment minus bank transfer fees
• 30–44 days before arrival – 50% refund of deposit
• Less than 30 days before arrival – non-refundable

If the company cancels the tour due to operational reasons, all payments received will be fully refunded.

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance.

  1. CHANGES BY THE CLIENT
    Changes to travel dates or itinerary are subject to availability. We will always try to accommodate reasonable requests. Additional costs may apply if accommodation or services have already been reserved.

  2. ITINERARY FLEXIBILITY
    Travel in Mongolia requires a flexible approach. Weather, road conditions, or local circumstances may require itinerary adjustments for safety or operational reasons. We will always provide similar or equivalent services whenever possible.

  3. PASSPORTS, VISAS & HEALTH
    Travelers are responsible for obtaining valid passports, visas, and any required medical documents. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.

  4. TRAVEL INSURANCE
    Travel insurance is mandatory. It must cover trip cancellation, medical expenses, evacuation, and personal belongings.

  5. RESPONSIBILITY
    Mongol Horizon Travel & Tours acts only as a tour operator and is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by airlines, weather conditions, natural disasters, government actions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

  6. CLIENT CONDUCT
    Travelers must follow the instructions of the tour guide for safety reasons. Behavior that endangers the group may result in removal from the tour without refund.

  7. LIABILITY
    Our responsibility begins when the traveler meets our guide in Mongolia and ends at the conclusion of the tour services. Personal belongings are the traveler’s responsibility at all times.

  8. COMPLAINTS
    If you have any issue during the tour, you must inform the guide immediately so we can resolve it. Complaints submitted after the tour may not be considered if we were not notified during the trip.

  9. GOVERNING LAW
    All agreements and disputes shall be governed by the laws of Mongolia.
