Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the vibrant capital of Mongolia! Upon arrival, your guide will greet you in the airport’s arrival hall, holding a sign with your name, and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy some free time to relax after your journey or explore the nearby area at your own pace. Feel free to ask the hotel receptionist for recommendations on local attractions, cafés, and restaurants.

Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for a flight to the Gobi Desert (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, meet your local guide and driver before heading to the spectacular Yol Valley in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Enjoy a scenic walk through the narrow gorge, surrounded by towering cliffs and dramatic mountain scenery. Keep an eye out for wildlife and take photos of this remarkable landscape.

Today, explore the magnificent Khongor Sand Dunes, one of Mongolia’s largest dune formations, stretching approximately 180 kilometers across the Gobi Desert. Some dunes rise dramatically above the surrounding landscape, offering spectacular panoramic views for those who climb to the summit. Experience the beauty of the desert on a camel ride aboard a Bactrian camel, famous for its two humps, and enjoy an unforgettable glimpse into traditional nomadic life.

Day 4: Bayanzag Flaming Cliff
Today, visit Bayanzag, famously known as the Flaming Cliffs, a spectacular red sandstone landscape renowned for its dinosaur fossils and the discovery of dinosaur eggs. American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews named the area “Flaming Cliffs” because of the striking red and orange colors that glow beautifully in the sunlight, especially at sunset. Explore the dramatic rock formations and surrounding saxaul forests while discovering one of Mongolia’s most remarkable paleontological sites.

Day 5: Flight Ulaanbaatar
After breakfast, visit the impressive Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue Complex, home to the world’s tallest horse-riding statue. Explore the complex and learn about Mongolia’s legendary ruler before returning to Ulaanbaatar. Continue to the National Museum of Mongolia to discover the country’s rich history, traditions, and cultural heritage. In the evening, enjoy an entertaining performance by the Tumen Ekh Ensemble, featuring traditional Mongolian music, dance, and throat singing.

Day 6: Genghis Khan Statue
This morning, transfer to the local airport for your flight to Ulaanbaatar, departing at 8:40 AM and arriving around 10:00 AM. Upon arrival, meet your driver and guide and continue to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful natural destinations. Visit the iconic Turtle Rock, a remarkable granite formation, and explore the peaceful Ariyabal Meditation Temple, nestled among the scenic mountains. Enjoy the park’s breathtaking landscapes before settling in for the evening.

Day 7: Khuvsgul Lake
After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to the airport for your flight to Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and driver and travel to the magnificent Khuvsgul Lake, one of Mongolia’s most beautiful natural treasures. Surrounded by forested mountains and pristine wilderness, the lake offers breathtaking scenery and a peaceful escape into northern Mongolia’s unspoiled nature. Enjoy the fresh air and explore the beautiful lakeside surroundings.

Day 3: Khongor Sand Dunes
Day 2: Yol Valley
Day 8: Khuvsgul Lake
Enjoy a relaxing day at beautiful Khuvsgul Lake, where you can stroll along the shoreline, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and admire the surrounding forests and crystal-clear waters. You may also have the opportunity to meet a Tsaatan reindeer-herding family and learn about their unique nomadic traditions. Please note that some Tsaatan families visit the Khuvsgul Lake area from June through late August, so encounters depend on the season and their location.

After breakfast, transfer to Murun Airport for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar (approximately 1.5 hours). Upon arrival, your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your centrally located hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing at the hotel or exploring the capital at your own pace.

After breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport or train station for your departure.
