Overview
The 9-day family tour in Mongolia blends nature, history, adventure, and culture through the diverse landscapes of the Gobi Desert and Central Mongolia. Highlights include exploring Baga Gazarin Chuluu’s rocky formations, admiring the colorful limestone cliffs of Tsagaan Suvarga, trekking through Yol Valley, climbing and camel riding at the Khongor Sand Dunes, and visiting the dinosaur-famed Flaming Cliffs of Bayanzag. Continue to Kharkhorum to see Erdene Zuu Monastery and the local museum, then head to Terelj National Park and the Chinggis Khan Statue Complex. Day 1: Ulaanbaatar
Our driver will greet you at the airport. Once you arrive at the hotel, take the time to unwind and get some rest to recuperate from your journey. You can navigate the city on your own.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 8:30 am today. Next, our journey will head to Kharkhorum. Kharkhorum served as the capital of the Mongol Empire from 1235 until 1263. Currently, Kharkhorum is a tiny village and remains one of Mongolia’s key tourist spots. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, constructed in 1585 atop the remnants of the old city

Day 3: Ongi Monastery


Ongi Monastery is situated at the base of Mount Saikhan Ovoo, close to the village of Saikhan Ovoo in the Dundgovi province. Before its destruction in 1939 by the communist authorities, the monastery was among the largest and most esteemed monasteries in Mongolia. Although not much remains, visiting and exploring the ruins is still intriguing

Day 4: Bayanzag


We will be heading to Bayanzag today. Bayanzag, referred to as The Flaming Cliffs, is renowned for its historical significance, dinosaur fossils, and the initial finding of dinosaur eggs. American explorer Roy Chapman Andrews, recognized for heading multiple expeditions, dubbed this location “Flaming Cliffs” due to the colors becoming even more vivid, particularly during sunset

Day 5: Khongor Sand Dunes


Khongor Sand Dunes rank among the largest in Mongolia, spanning a length of 180 kilometers. The highest dunes, climbing up to 800 meters, are located in the northwestern section of the range. For many individuals, scaling these dunes can be challenging. Yet upon reaching the summit, you'll witness a breathtaking perspective of the desert. Enjoy riding on Bactrian camels with two humps

Day 6: Yol Valley


Yol Valley is a stunningly narrow gorge located in Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park in Mongolia. High cliffs and boulders enhance the valley’s breathtaking look. You can navigate the towering cliffs, tight passages, and may encounter a glacier that remains frozen until late June. Take a relaxed hike and photograph the picturesque scenery and animals

This morning, you will be taken to the nearby airport for your flight to Ulaanbaatar. Your flight is set to leave at 08:40 am and is expected to land at the city airport by 10:00 am. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by our guide and driver at the airport. Next, our journey will proceed to Terelj National Park. Gorkhi Terelj is among the most popular and intriguing parks in Mongolia

Day 8: Chingis Khan Statue


Following breakfast, we will head to the Genghis Khan statue. Following our visit to the Genghis Khan statue complex, we will head back to UB by car. Discover, Mongolia's past at the museum, which showcases intriguing displays of culture and artifacts. Later, experience classic Mongolian music and dance with the Tumen Ekh Ensemble
