Begin by exploring Ulaanbaatar’s main attractions before heading north to the remote Darkhad Valley, where you’ll visit a Tsaatan (reindeer herder) camp and experience their unique way of life. Enjoy optional horseback or boat trips around the crystal-clear lake, take in its spectacular scenery, and spend the night in traditional ger tents while savoring authentic Mongolian cuisine. Visit Genghis Khan Square, located in the heart of Ulaanbaatar. Then, explore the National Museum of Mongolia with your guide to discover the country's rich history, culture, and geography.
Accommodation: Hotel
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Murun, the capital of Khuvsgul Province. Upon arrival, drive approximately 110 km to beautiful Lake Khuvsgul and check in at a lakeside camp. Enjoy the peaceful scenery and choose from optional activities such as horseback riding, fishing, or boating.

Day 4: Lake Khuvsgul, Murun & Ulaanbaatar
In the morning, visit a Tsaatan reindeer-herding family to learn about their traditional lifestyle and visit their teepee-style dwelling. On the way back to camp, stop at a yak-herding family and sample dairy products made from yak milk. Enjoy a relaxing evening at your own pace.
