This excursion will explore one of the most frequented national parks in Mongolia and enable you to immerse yourself in local culture alongside stunning landscapes. In addition to appreciating the stunning landscapes of Terelj National Park, exploring the historic city of Kharkhorin from the Great Mongol Empire, and observing the last genuinely wild horse, Takhi, you will have the opportunity to ride a Bactrian camel on the sand dunes and meet a nomadic family to gain insights into their distinct culture and way of life

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM and drive to Elsen Tasarkhai, known as the Mini Gobi, where sand dunes meet grasslands, mountains, and forests. After lunch at a ger camp, visit a nomadic camel-herding family to learn about their traditional lifestyle and enjoy a ride on a two-humped Mongolian camel.

After breakfast, drive to Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit Kharkhorin Museum and Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist monasteries. After lunch, continue to Ugii Lake, known for its peaceful scenery and rich birdlife. Settle into your lakeside ger camp and enjoy the rest of the day relaxing by the water.

Travel to Hustai National Park, home to the takhi (Przewalski’s horse), the world’s last truly wild horse. Along the way, visit a nomadic family and sample traditional dairy products. After lunch, learn about takhi conservation at the park’s information center, then explore the park on a short drive and walk to spot wild horses and other wildlife, including deer, eagles, and marmots.

Day 4: Terelj

At 9:00 AM, drive to Terelj National Park to enjoy its beautiful landscapes. Visit the famous Turtle Rock and, if you wish, hike to Aryabal Meditation Temple for scenic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. In the evening, settle into a tourist ger camp and relax in the peaceful countryside.

Day 5: Ulaanbaatar-- Genghis Khan's statue complex

After lunch, take a short drive to the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex, home to the impressive 40-meter-tall equestrian statue of Chinggis Khaan. Explore the complex, visit its museum, and browse the gift shops.

Next, visit Zaisan Memorial Hill, a popular viewpoint offering beautiful panoramic views of Ulaanbaatar and the surrounding hills. Around 5:00 PM, transfer to your hotel, marking the end of your day’s activities.
